UPDATE: All of our covid secure measures remain in place and this will not change when Government guidance changes on 19 July.
Visitors are asked to continue to wear a face covering, unless they are exempt, and to follow social distancing when visiting our care home. This follows the national Infection Prevention Control (IPC) Guidance for all healthcare settings and will help to ensure the safety of our staff and residents at all times.
Thank you for your continued support.
We want to reassure you Sunflowers Care is taking all the necessary precautions and that we are continually monitoring official advice from Public Health England (PHE) and NHS England.
Currently our advice to families and staff is that they need not take any extra precautions to those being advised by the NHS and PHE.
We are limiting visitors to families and those who are essential to the child’s health and wellbeing.
We are asking visitors and staff not to attend if they have had contact with somebody who has symptoms of the virus or if they themselves are experiencing symptoms, such as a new, continuous cough and/or high temperature of 37.8 and above. The children and young people who receive care from us can be particularly vulnerable to respiratory infections and must be our priority.
We thank those visitors this may affect for their understanding and, of course, wish them well.
Updates will be made as and when necessary, in line with the latest government guidance.
